Top Air Travel Apps Performance in Dominican Republic Q4 2024

In the fourth quarter of 2024, the air travel app market in the Dominican Republic showcased varied performance across the top five applications, according to data from Sensor Tower.

Club Avolta, developed by Dufry International AG, experienced a fluctuating trend in weekly downloads. Starting at 326 downloads in late September, the app saw a peak of approximately 2.8K downloads in early December before settling at around 1.1K by the end of the quarter. Weekly active users mirrored this trend, beginning at 563 and climbing to over 5K mid-December, before closing the year at 3.2K users.

JetBlue - Book & manage trips maintained consistent weekly downloads, fluctuating slightly between 755 and 1.1K throughout the quarter. Active users remained relatively stable, starting at 2.7K and ending the quarter at 2.8K.

SAWASDEE by AOT saw a significant spike in downloads in early October, reaching nearly 3.9K before sharply declining to 224 by late October. This drop was reflected in active user numbers, which decreased from 5.3K in mid-October to 1.4K by the end of December.

Flightradar24 Flight Tracker displayed a steady increase in both downloads and active users. Downloads rose from 720 to over 1.4K by late December. Active users followed a similar upward trajectory, moving from 6.9K to 8.2K.

Fly Delta showed a consistent pattern in weekly downloads, ranging from 435 to 570 during the period. Active users also remained stable, beginning at 1.4K and ending slightly lower at 1.2K.
